Responsible Investment Report 2025
We are pleased to present our sixth Annual Responsible Investment (RI) Report, offering a detailed account of our progress, challenges, and contribution to more responsible investment outcomes in 2025.
For over 100 years, we have invested across various asset classes on behalf of values-driven, long-term-focused clients, balancing risk, return and responsibility. In a year marked by heightened uncertainty, evolving market dynamics and a more polarised debate on responsible investment, Anthos remained guided by its principles, rooted in our values of sustainability, human dignity and good corporate citizenship, as we continued to act in line with our long-term fiduciary duty.
In 2025, our Legacy Forward direction provided a clear strategic anchor - marking the transition from building our responsible investment framework to embedding it more consistently across our investment practice and evolving our approach. Drawing particularly on the preceding five years of experience, Legacy Forward reflects our focus on clearer priorities, stronger implementation and, ensuring that responsible investment remains integral to how we invest across cycles and market conditions.
As a fund-of-funds investor, our investment principles are embedded across the value chain: from our own firm’s business practices to the portfolios we manage, all of which shape the way our efforts translate into tangible outcomes for society.
In 2025, we continued to strengthen our responsible investment approach while navigating a more complex and contested ESG environment.
Here are three key highlights in numbers from this year’s report:
- Top-tier PRI recognition: Achieved 5-star ratings for Policy, Governance & Strategy and Real Estate, with 4-star ratings across all other asset classes - underscoring the strength, consistency and maturity of our responsible investment approach.
- Continued advancement of RI integration at scale: 99% of underlying managers monitored or actively engaged on responsible investment, alongside the transition of 82% of AUM to our enhanced RI scorecard - strengthening oversight, comparability and decision-making across portfolios.
- Delivering on long-term commitments: Maintained B Corporation certification and advanced our Net Zero 2040 ambition - demonstrating continued alignment between how we invest, operate and contribute to real-world outcomes.
